The program last year provided more than $51 million in support to visual arts, museums, literature, theatre, dance, music, regional touring, capital works and professional development for artists across the state.
Parliamentary Secretary for the Hunter, Scot MacDonald MLC urged artists and art and cultural organisations to apply for funding.
“The program is a major part of our government’s Create in NSW 10-year framework which aims to raise statewide participation and attendance in arts and culture,” he said.
“This program is highly competitive so I encourage local artists and organisations to read the guidelines we have launched today and consider applying for funding.”
