The Entrance secured a valuable 5-3 win over Norths at Wyong to draw level with their opponents on the league ladder.
Maitland forfeited a 3-2 lead to draw three-all with University at Maitland. Leon Phillips levelled for The Students with 18 minutes remaining and the visitors were able to hold on for a point, which lifts them off the bottom of the ladder on goal difference.
Just three points now separate the top four sides.
