NEARLY $100,000 in funds for cancer support raised from this year’s Pink Frangipani Ball have been handed over to researcher Dr Nikki Verills ($50,000) and Hunter counselling organisation ProCare ($45,000).

The proceeds were presented at the University of Newcastle on Tuesday. This will be held on Tuesday 26th July at 4:30pm.
The annual ball is held in memory of Sandra Rufo, wife of Newcastle city councillor Andrea Rufo, who died from breast cancer in 2005.
The 6th Pink Frangipani Ball was held at Wests Newcastle, earlier this year, attended by 420 guests.
