The landing launched the fourth year of the helicopter service’s schools program, which has been delivered in more than 3000 schools.
Westpac spokesperson James Cudmore said the program was designed in line with the Australian Curriculum and taught students the importance of not-for-profit emergency services and what to do in an emergency.
Program ambassador and Channel 7 personality Candice Dixon also made an appearance at Garden Suburb Public School.
Cudmore said schools can register for the program through www.westpacrescue.com.au/schools.
