The seeds of rock’n’roll were planted young for Newcastle drummer Zeke Marosszeky when on a family holiday at Port Macquarie they just happened to stay in the same hotel as AC/DC.
The story goes Marosszeky’s dad hit it off with Bon Scott, who was about the same age.
“Dad and the babysitter went to their concerts and hung out with them, so it wasn’t mum’s favourite holiday,” Marosszeky said.
Allegedly, one of the band did something rather unspeakable in the pool which saw them evicted from the hotel.
“He [his dad] also said Bon Scott would wear a leopard skin lap-lap around the pool and to the shops with no undies,” he said.
