Facebook went down across parts of Australia for 30 minutes just before lunchtime on Tuesday and the world couldn’t cope.
Facebook have yet to confirm what happened but the world turned to Twitter to vent their frustrations.
The pain was very real.

Twitter usage spiked to unusually high levels while we waited for Facebook to sort things out.
And then we were hugely relieved when Facebook returned.
