The NSW Country Championships will be staged in Lake Macquarie for the second year in a row.
Gymnastics NSW chief executive officer Aaron Bloomfield said the centre would make a premium trampoline gymnastics facility for the Hunter Region, with a proposed purpose-built venue in discussion.
“As a central hub for trampoline gymnastics, the Hunter Region will attract the top athletes in our country, as well as providing opportunity for state, national and international competitions and tourism,” Bloomfield said.
Leading the charge at the championships will be Blackert Gymnastics Academy, who did well at the national titles in May.
