The national final series of the 39th Bill Turner Cup and the 27th Bill Turner Trophy will be contested by four boys’ and girls’ 15-years-and-under football teams respectively.
The eight teams remain from 800 who started the long-running competitions, which are contested along the East coast of Australia from Cairns to Melbourne.
Semi-finals will be played on September 5 with the national finals on the following day.
In Bill Turner Cup semi-finals action, Cavendish Road (Brisbane) take on Westfields Sports (Sydney) and Hunter Sports High are set to do battle with Maribyrnong College.
In the Bill Turner Cup semi-finals, Toowoomba Grammar meet Westfields Sports and Whitebridge High battle Penleigh & Essendon College (Melbourne)
There will also be third-place play-offs on September 6.
Cook rated coup for Waratahs
