Formerly president of the Williams River Preschool Association, president of Seaham Public School P&C I'm president and life member of Port Stephens Cricket Club, and president of Raymond Terrace Sports Council. I'm on the regional executive for the Housing Industry Australia and the Board for the Association of Accredited Certifiers. I'm also a member of the Planning Institute Australia, Country Surveyors Association, and a Port Stephens councillor. I'm married with two teenage daughters, have a small farm and as managing director of Le Mottee Group (Raymond Terrace), I stand for small business.
- Paul Le Mottee, Independent
I’m 23 years old, and have lived and worked in Raymond Terrace for my whole life. I’m a firefighter with Raymond Terrace Fire & Rescue, and I’m incredibly passionate about our local community and seeing it prosper. Our area has been left to suffer the consequences of no medium to long-term planning by this council. We need to be working to improve infrastructure and facilitate better services for all ratepayers. I bring a strong sense of community, fairness, and a values-based approach to council, all of which will be vital in ensuring that the personality politics of the last five years is a distant memory.
- Giacomo Arnott, Country Labor
I have lived in Port Stephens for 23 years. I am a mother, architect, artist, problem solver, avid gardener and an environmental and community activist. I have an architectural background, understanding the rules, regulations and planning instruments that shape our local government area. I have sat in council chambers and witnessed firsthand the shortfalls of our current council - especially the blatant disregard of the environment and the exclusion of the community. This needs to change. I know how it works, I know what’s wrong with it, and I will make positive change for the people of West Ward.

It's been an honour to serve as your representative on Port Stephens Council and I remain committed to ensuring that your views are strongly represented and that West Ward “gets its fair share”. I am regularly out and about, speaking with local residents and community groups about their issues and the services and infrastructure they need me to fight for. I need your vote on Saturday to continue my work protecting our local environment, securing economic and job opportunities and building the community infrastructure for the future. I look forward to your support so I can continue to 'get it done'.
