Newcastle Beachwatch - September 26, 2017

It was a cooler morning on the beach on Tuesday, with with fresh onshore winds and an increase after a few flat days.

Southern corners have the better of the choppy conditions on the incoming tide.

A small comination of two swell from the East and South at 1 to 1.5m.Wind S/W to South going S/E.

Tides low for the early and try Nobbys, South Bar and Merewether. Not much quality down the coast and South Catho the pick.Stockton and One Mile to the North.

Slight sweeps and few patches of kelp about.Stick to the flagged patrolled areas if going in for a swim.Water temp 18C.

Dave Anderson.
