The 32-year-old from Mount Hutton was back in Australia for four days this week on a whirlwind promotional visit to spruik his latest single Kiss Somebody. The country-pop track has enjoyed cross-over appeal, appearing on commercial radio in Newcastle and the capital cities.
It even landed Evans an appearance on Network Ten’s The Project and on Channel 7’s breakfast behemoth, Sunrise.
“They’re shows I watched when I lived here,” Evans told The Star.
“It’s super cool that they dig the song and want to have me on and spread the good word.”
Evans won’t be playing any Australian dates until he takes the stage at The Star Event Centre, Pyrmont on March 13, 2018.
In the meantime you can download Kiss Somebody from iTunes.
