The New Coasters have won the McDonald's under-15 Women's Country Championship by 23 runs over Central Northern.
The final was played in Raymond Terrace on Wednesday afternoon.
The New Coasters team features girls from Newcastle and the Central Coast.
Grace Dignam and Maddie McGuigan from New Coasters accepted the shield.
The win ended North Coastal’s three-year streak.
The under-18s will turn out to King Park sporting Complex on Thursday morning to play their two-day championship tournament.
Playing in pool one of the under-18s is North Coastal, ACT Southern, New Coasters and Central Northern.
In pool two is Illawarra, Western, Riverina and Country Cavaliers.
Games will kick off at 10am on Thursday.

The eight under-15 teams went head-to-head in finals of the McDonald's Women's Country Championship on Wednesday afternoon.
New Coasters (first place, pool two) went up against Central Northern (first place, pool one) in the final.
North Coast (second place, pool one) played against Western (second place, pool two).
ACT Southern (third place, pool two) v Riverina (third place, pool one).
Country Cavaliers (fourth place, pool one) v Illawarra (fourth place, pool two).
