The European Tradition is an in gallery and online exhibition featuring works produced by the artist with inspiration from his “experiences and knowledge gained from touring some of the great galleries of Europe and the UK’.
Since retiring from teaching in 2006, Rowland has visited Europe and seen some of the “iconic” works on exhibition, while discovering “gems of work which you are unaware”.
The exhibition will be opened by director Mark Widdup, with the artist, on October 22 at 6.40pm. The opening will also be streamed live to the galleries Facebook page.
