The Melbourne-based label boasts an international reach and Tonight Alive, Northlane, Architects, Hellions and Bodyjar feature on their roster.
The band got to know stablemates on the label through touring.
“We are massive fans of the label,” Mitch Raschke said.
“We had a few meetings, they feel like a big family and they care about their bands.”
“In the short time we have been with them, they have been very good to us.
“They like Introvert just as we are and they don’t expect us to change.”
The fruit of the deal will culminate in the recording of a debut, full-length album.
“We are writing like crazy,” Raschke said. “We really want to put out something that really reflects us and how we have grown.”
Fans will have to wait until sometime in 2018 for the recording’s release.
Introvert released their first single, December, with UNFD this week and will perform at the Cambridge Hotel on November 24
THE CREATION
Iinternationally renowned Novocastrian soprano Miriam Allan will be joined by tenor Paul McMahan, bass David Creco, an orchestra of 30 and the University of Newcastle’s Choir on stage next month.
They will perform Joseph Haydn’s masterpiece The Creation.
This mighty work depicts and celebrates the creation of the world as described in the Book of Genesis through powerful choruses and soaring solo passages.
The choir will be comprised of more than 120 voices.
It will be performed at the Great Hall at the University of Newcastle, on December 10 at 3pm.
SWEET SUPPORT
BRITISH India are hungry for more. Newcastle band dave famously endeared themselves to Melbourne’s British India last Easter when they gifted them a box of reduced-to-clear croissants.
It turns out the cheeky gesture hasn’t been forgotten. British India have again invited dave to support them at their Cambridge Hotel show on November 17.
Lachlan X. Morris is also on the bill.
