The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, won the 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10191 on November 1, but as her entry was unregistered, NSW Lotteries had to wait until she checked her ticket.
It’s the second Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot 1st Prize to land in the region during the past week.
According to a NSW Lotteries official the woman responded to the news with a “yahoo!”.
“I went to the newsagent and I had no idea. They said I had won something but couldn’t say exactly how much. When I got home I looked online and saw I had the winning number,” she told the NSW Lotteries official.
“I nearly died! I just shouted and screamed and carried on.
“I couldn’t believe it when I saw it. I was dancing around the whole house.”
“I just couldn’t believe all the naughts. Not in my wildest dreams did I think I’d win $100,000!”
With the win still sinking in, the happy winner confessed she had yet to decide what she would do with her Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot windfall.
But she has vowed to always register her entries in future so she can receive the winning news immediately.
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry of two consecutive numbers from Nextra Mt Hutton, Shop 46/47, Central Lake Macquarie, 46 Wilsons Road, Mount Hutton.
Nextra Mt Hutton owner Chris Gribble said the outlet was excited to have sold another 1st Prize winning entry.
“We’ve sold about five 1st Prizes in Lucky Lotteries during the past decade so it’s great to add another one. I know we’re a lucky store.” he laughed.
“Everyone’s been really excited and waiting to see if the winner would come in and discover the news. Congratulations to the winner. We wish them all the very best.”
