Lake Macquarie’s biggest Christmas event on the calendar, Carols by Candelight, is set to once again herald in the festive season, and this year will return to the Speers Point Park location on Sunday, December 10.

Billed as an event that “includes something for the whole family to enjoy”, council’s acting manager for community planning, Wes Hain, believes that the event will be one not to miss.

The Lake Macquarie Carols by Candlelight had a fantastic turn-out in 2016, and a similar attendance is predicted for the 2017 event.

The event is slated to begin at 11am with a Variety X-Mas Walk, followed by musical entertainment beginning from 1pm. Alongside the day-long activities, there will also be a guest appearance by Santa Claus for the children.
