The playground was recently upgraded to provide a range of modern play equipment designed for children aged between 2 and 12 years.
Play equipment includes an activity unit with double slide, three-bay swing with an infant seat and a section that features a carousel, play boat and accessible rocker.
All play areas will have a soft-fall base.
Last month, a revamped playground at Luskin Way, Belmont, officially opened and construction will soon begin on the third playground at Edwards Park, Booragul.
The council is committed to spend $4 million on improving parks and playgrounds in 2018-19 as part of its capital works program.
