The Maddison and Breanna Blick, Jacqui Edwards and Laura Saxon defeated West Wallsend High School and Warners Bay High School eight-sets-to-nil and face Dungog High School in the semi finals at District Park on Thursday, June 5.
New Lambton High School will take on Great Lakes High School in the other semi final with the final to follow.
Belmont, Merewether, Singleton and Great Lakes High Schools will compete for the boys’ teams title on the same day and at the same venue.
The Northumberland region Junior Development Series is drawing to a close with only two rounds remaining.
The Champion of Champions competition, which determines the Northumberland region representatives at the State Classic Finals, is at Gosford on Sunday, July 27.
The top eight place getters in their respective age divisions from the Junior Development Series point score gain entry into the Champion of Champions.
