Mayfield back on National Broadband Network roll-out map

MAYFIELD is back on the National Broadband Network roll-out map after months of uncertainty. Following the federal election last year, the government removed hundreds of thousands of homes scheduled to be connected to fibre optic cable, including hundreds in Mayfield. Mayfield is the only suburb to have been reinstated on the map, despite the fact that Stockton, Kooragang Island and Belmont were also added last year and then later taken off.
