Killarney Vale moves to second on Black Diamond AFL ladder

KILLARNEY Vale have moved into second position on the Wilson Security Black Diamond Cup ladder following their 19.18.132 to 9.9.63 win over Cardiff at No 1 Sportsground.

The magnitude of the loss has once again placed the Hawks finals position under threat from both Nelson Bay and Warners Bay, both of whom, along with Newcastle City, enjoyed the bye.

The scheduled match between Singleton and Terrigal Avoca was cancelled due to Rose Point Park being under water following heavy overnight rain.

A full round of matches will be played this Saturday, including heavyweights Newcastle City versus Terrigal Avoca at No 1 Sportsground.
