THE University of Newcastle Women's Hockey Club will change the colour of its socks from maroon and dark blue to light blue to raise money for Guide Dogs NSW/ACT.

The club will hold its Dollars 4 Collars fund-raising effort this Saturday, August 9, at Newcastle International Hockey Centre on what is scheduled as a gentleman's day for the university's men's hockey club.
All women's teams will compete sporting their new socks.
The club will collect donations from spectators and all proceeds will go to Guide Dogs NSW/ACT.
Women's hockey team captain Christine Brady encouraged everyone to dig deep and donate.
■ Games start at 12.30pm, last game 5.30pm, at Newcastle International Hockey Centre.
