The Broncos ran in nine tries against a sloppy Knights side, who were without a host of first-graders. Jeremy Smith and Kade Snowden are suspended for taking banned substances while at Cronulla in 2011. Also missing were Jarrod Mullen, Darius Boyd, James McManus and Akuila Uate due to injury and personal issues.
The Knights look to bounce back this weekend when they host the Parramatta Eels at Hunter Stadium on Saturday at 3pm.
