The March 18 matches had been in the pipeline for some time but Hurricanes board member Phil Reid said the National Water Polo League games were postponed before the weekend due to predicted wild weather and rough seas.
Their March 25 games against the UTS Balmain Tigers will be played in the harbour in the afternoon, weather permitting.
Meanwhile, it was a disappointing weekend for the men’s and women’s teams. They both lost their double-headers against Sydney University Lions at Lambton Pool on Saturday and Sunday.
The Hurricanes’ final-round games against the Adelaide Jets on April 1 and 2 may also be split between Newcastle Harbour and Lambton Pool.
