The Newcastle Echo Facebook group has begun announcing the line-up for Iced Novo, a one day community event celebrating the “awesomeness” of Newcastle, to be held at The Croatian Club, Wickham.

The first round of local acts announced include Trancemission, Jamie Hay, Throw Me to the Wolves and Rangers of the Universe. More acts will be announced in the coming weeks.
The event will see three stages of entertainment at the club, with an outdoor performance area during daylight hours.
Iced Novo will be held on Saturday, August 5, kicking off at 1pm, with a community garage sale in the community garden.
There will be food and entertainment. It is a family friendly event.
The event is being held as a fundraiser for the fight to save The Butterfly Cave at West Wallsend. Entry is by gold coin donation.
