Billed as an event that “includes something for the whole family to enjoy”, council’s acting manager for community planning, Wes Hain, believes that the event will be one not to miss.
“Carols by Candlelight is one of the most popular events in the Lake Macquarie calendar and this year is set to be another fantastic evening for the community,” Mr Hain said. “There will be free kids' activities all day before our guests, Judah Kelly and Toni Childs take to the stage for the evening concert at 6.30pm.”
The event is slated to begin at 11am with a Variety X-Mas Walk, followed by musical entertainment beginning from 1pm. Alongside the day-long activities, there will also be a guest appearance by Santa Claus for the children.
The Carols by Candlelight event will be closed out by a fireworks display at 9pm.
