December is here, the decorations are out (granted they have been on display for a while at the local shopping centres) and Christmas lights are popping up in every neighbourhood.
December also means it is time for Christmas carols. Here are some of the carols in the area:
- City of Newcastle, Carols by Candlelight presented by the Newcastle Herald on December 15 at King Edward Park
- Lake Mac Carols by Candlelight is on Sunday December 10 at Speers Point Park.
- Serenade under the stars - Christmas in Civic Park is on December 1.
- Sanctuary Neighbour Group Christmas Carols at Kurraka Drive Fletcher on Sunday December 10.
