The classes are for all levels of dancing experience or inexperience.
It all happens on Monday nights with a rockabilly beginner’s class at 6.45pm, followed by intermediate at 7.30pm. A swing beginners and intermediate class will be held at 8.15pm.
The teachers are friendly and you don’t need a partner. The dress code is “comfy” clothes and shoes.
Blue Suede Shoes Dance School’s Anna Ocello said dancing was much more fun than the gym.
“It’s getting fit and having fun in a friendly team like environment, building confidence with a contact sport,” Ms Ocello said.
“Each week you are meeting new people, learning new steps, its great for the memory and the cardio at all levels and all ages. If you can walk you can dance.”
