Hamilton exploded with colour on Sunday as an estimated 30,000 people flocked to the suburb’s biggest street celebration, Carnivale.
Spectators indulged on eclectic mix of food and drink, while families were entertained by thrilling performances across three separate stages.
The event, which is organised by the Hamilton Business Chamber, aims to promote the lively suburb as Newcastle’s premier multicultural and food destination.
Chamber president Nathan Errington said the bumper crowds showed the event was “bigger and better” than ever before.
