Greg North has been reciting poetry around campfires, concert halls and at Festivals around Australia for many years. He has worked up several performance routines combining mime, accents, costumes and sight gags that have left audiences in stitches.
North is one of the special guests invited to the Writers Festival by the Hunter Bush Poets, who are members of the Newcastle Hunter Valley Folk Club.
The Hunter Bush Poets will host two events as part of the Newcastle Writers Festival. North will be performing at a Poets Lunch on April 7, 11:30am-1:30pm, at the FogHorn Brewhouse and the Poets Breakfast on April 8, 8am, at the Press Bookshop, 426 Hunter
The Hunter Bush Poets meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 7pm, at the Teralba Community Hall.
