The video was shot around Newcastle entirely on super eight film, providing a dreamy ’60s vibe to Mitchell’s jangly guitar and smoky vocal. Medicine Woman will feature on Mitchell’s forthcoming second album The Overflow.
PURU COMES HOME
CARDIFF-raised artist Kira Puru has grown leaps and bounds since the days when she was bouncing around Newcastle with her band The Bruise performing soul, blues and rock.
Last year the Melbourne-based musician, photographer and writer unveiled her new indie-pop sound with the single Tension that has attracted 1.2 million streams on Spotify.
The good news is Puru is finally returning home on June 15 to perform at the Cambridge Hotel. Tickets are on sale now.
