Raymond Terrace have found themselves sitting at the ‘big boys’ table after their 5-1 victory over Garden Surburbs in the fourth round of the FFA Cup.

While the win that put them into the final 12 teams in the Southern Conference was against a fellow Zone League team, their fifth round challenge will be slightly tougher – Terrace will now face off against Adamstown.

The Rosebuds have been a long-standing stalwart in the National Premier League, but that won’t deter the northern club as they prepare for one of their biggest matches at King Park.

Also in the fifth round, Northern League One’s Cessnock City Hornets come up against NPL team Lambton, while fellow second division club Thornton will welcome Broadmeadow Magic.

Outside of those three match-ups, all fixtures will see NPL teams clash, with Weston hosting Hamilton while Valentine play against Edgeworth.

Finally, Lake Macquarie travel to Charlestown after the Blues came out 10-0 victors in the Azzurri derby.

Southern Conference, Fifth Round:

  • Weston Workers (NPL) v Hamilton Olympic (NPL)
  • Raymond Terrace (ZL1) v Adamstown Rosebud (NPL)
  • Cessnock City FC (NL1) v Lambton Jaffas (NPL)
  • Thornton Redbacks (NL1) v Broadmeadow Magic (NPL)
  • Charlestown City Blues (NPL) v Lake Macquarie City (NPL)
  • Valentine (NPL) v Edgeworth (NPL)
