The tour will take in Overwintering, and exhibition by the printmakers workshop. It is a celebration of the winter solstice and the migratory shorebirds that travel along the East Asian-Australasian Flyway.
The works have been made as part of the Overwintering Project: Mapping Sanctuary. It explores the unique environment and the migratory shorebirds that exist between the shores of Australia and New Zealand.
Those on the tour will hear an introduction to printmaking talk by artist Jim Woodbury.
They will also get the chance to make their own print to take home. All materials will be included.
The tour is on June 23, and kicks off at 2pm. The official exhibition opens at 4pm, and participants are welcome to stay for that.
Tickets are $35 per person, or $60 for two. For bookings email info@gallery139.com.au or phone 0434 886 450.
