FIRST there was the Facebook page The Same Photo of Glenn Danzig Everyday, in which subscribers would receive the same picture of The Misfits singer and keyboardist in their news feed every single day.

Now, the release of Danzig’s first, self-titled, album, on August 30, 1988, will be celebrated by three Newcastle bands: Boudicca, John Howard and The Living Dead.

The bands will be peppering their sets with renditions of tracks from the album.

It kicks off at 8.30pm. Entry is free.
