Now, the release of Danzig’s first, self-titled, album, on August 30, 1988, will be celebrated by three Newcastle bands: Boudicca, John Howard and The Living Dead.
The bands will be peppering their sets with renditions of tracks from the album.
It kicks off at 8.30pm. Entry is free.
BOOM TOWN
THE long awaited debut album Boom Town by Newcastle’s Steel City Sue, also known as Su Morley, will be launched on August 30, at 8pm, at the Royal Exchange, Bolton Street.
Morley will perform with her band The Smoke Stacks, with support acts Doc and the Delegates, and Glen Tinto.
