As well as a newly renovated commercial kitchen that was unveiled in July, the club has also seen new gym and fitness area improvements, as well as the expansion of the gymnastics area. Improvements on the exterior will also begin in the coming weeks to “make the club more appealing in the community”.
It’s a move that looks to “raise the profile of the club in the local area”, Mr Eddy explained, as well as providing clarity for the club’s ongoing brand.
“We’re currently upgrading a lot of the inside of the club and it’s a move that we think will bring it in line with the modern day expectations of the area,” he said.
“It’s been a long road – people think we’re funded but we’re self-sustaining – and we need to continue welcoming people so this upgrade was key.”
