STEEL: Art Design Architecture is an exhibition that explores the most innovative and outstanding ways that steel is being used by artists, designers and architects in Australia in  21st century. It examines our relationship to this “extraordinary material”.

It is a touring exhibition from JamFactory to be held at the same time as Your Collection: Hunter Steel. 

Curated from Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery’s permanent collection, a selection of silver gelatin photographs by Charles Collin offer insight into the architectural and industrial landscape that has shaped the cultural of Newcastle and the Hunter region.

It opens at Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery on September 29 until December 2.

A Tea Party exhibition by members of Newcastle Studio Potters will open on September 21 to October 14. The gallery’s open day is on September 22, with workshop tours between 2-4pm.
