There’s a range of fun and interactive activities for kids to enjoy these school holidays with Lake Macquarie City Council.

On  October 3, children can learn how to build the perfect paper plane at Morisset Library. Kids will receive step-by-step instructions on how to create their plane and an opportunity to test out their planes’ aerodynamics.

Then on October 4, children can get creative and make their own one of a kind jewellery pieces at Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery.

Children will get the chance to encounter something out of this world on October 5, at Charlestown Swim Centre, where they can enjoy stories and crafts while parents cool off by the pool.

Children looking to improve their confidence in the water before summer can take part in learn-to-swim intensive programs at Charlestown, West Wallsend and Swansea Swim Centres, October 8-12.

There’s so much on offer these school holidays with a huge variety of activities, workshops and classes available.

Places fill up quickly. Booking information, visit lakemac.com.au/recreation/whats-on/school-holidays.
