The free event is being organised by Cattleyard Brewing Co, the beer belly of Cattleyard Promotions – that’s the crew behind Groovin the Moo.
It will feature beats by Lex Deluxe, Madhouse DJs, Jun Wan, Dan Phelan and DJ Jakesy Hustle. There will be beer by Cattleyard Brewing Co, and the burgers will be by chef Tony Harrison.
Plus, art installations by Sophia Flegg.

SOLAR PANELS
THE next fundraising event for the Croatian Club’s quest to go solar will be held on October 12.
Five bands – More or Less, Naughtical Boys, Biggs Project, EME and The Craw – will take to the stage from 7pm.
Sausage sizzle and pizza to purchase.
Entry is $5 concession, $10 waged, with proceeds going to Climate Action Newcastle’s fundraising drive to install solar panels at the club.
MOJO JUJU
NATIVE TONGUE is the title of the third studio album from Mojo Juju.
It is an album that tells her family history and of her own personal experiences, exploring her relationships with elders and ancestry and how that informs her own identity.
Contemplating her Mother’s Indigenous heritage, her Father’s experience as a Filipino immigrant and her own place in the cultural landscape of modern Australia.
Mojo Juju will play the Small Ballroom on November 23. Tickets are a touch over $30 and available at kingdomsounds.oztix.com.au
WEST PAPUA
ROCKIN’ for West Papua is about raising awareness and pushing for a supervised vote on independence for the people of West Papua.
It will be held at the Lass O’Gowrie Hotel on October 20, from midday.
On the bill is: Nathan Gleeson, Trashed Again, The Not Nots, The Craw, Them Wild Oat, The Grounds, Shinu Gnu (Sydney), The Dead Set (Sydney), Nothing Like You (Sydney), The Dark Clouds (Wollongong) and William Street Strikers (Adelaide)
Entry is $5, all proceeds go to the United Liberation Movement for West Papua.
