The childhood memorabilia of Ella and Hazel Porter with be the centrepiece of the next museum open day.
On exhibition will be tinplate toys, dolls, school books and other objects.
Miss Porter’s House is the only National Trust Property in Newcastle. The freestanding Edwardian terrace was built by the Porter sister’s father, in 1909.
The open day is on October 14, between 1-4pm, at Miss Porter’s House, 434 King Street.
Entry is $8 for adults, concession $6 and children under 5, as well as National Trust members, are free.
