The three-day event promises to be celebration of film that will this year span from Lake Macquarie to Port Stephens.
With workshops, films, panels, international industry experts, a creative hub and more, Festival Director Annette Hubber said this year’s launch will be a celebration of film and the positive impact film has on the community.
“Films bring people together to explore new ideas, generate conversation and shine a light on topics that might otherwise go unnoticed,” Ms Hubber said.
“This year, we are screening many wonderful films that approach a wide range of issues, and some that highlight amazing stories from around the Hunter”.
