Chloe, 6 months, great Dane x mastiff
Chloe is a young, female great Dane-cross-mastiff who is very placid and goes with the flow.
She loves attention and is happy to couch surf with a loving arm around her or chase toys with her friends. She also likes to explore the gardens and yard, play zoomies, and go on adventurous trips to the farm where she can splash in the dam and have a fantastic time exploring and playing with her many friends (large and small).
Chloe is great travelling in the car and is happy to wear a harness and be safely secured. She has been very well socialised and is very happy to be around other friendly dogs. She loves children, but like all puppies can get a little over excited and playfully jump up. Chloe is currently being housetrained and sleeps inside of a night. Laika, 1 year, Labrador X kelpie
Laika is a goofy, happy girl who loves everybody. She loves walks, playing with people and dogs and knows several cool tricks.
Laika has the typical Labrador temperament and likes to follow her parents all day for cuddles and to stick her nose in to investigate whatever you’re doing…ehhemmm - LOVES FOOD. Sadly, our sweet Laika has an issue. She gets anxious and manages this by spinning/tail chasing.
She has made leaps and bounds since coming into care and is now able to enjoy her doggy life without being too restricted by this behaviour. However, she is triggered by dogs barking, unfamiliar loud noises and flappy things around her head. Life is a dream for our girl these days, but this is an issue that will have to continue to be managed at her forever home.
Laika’s forever home would be a calm place with lots of affection, where they would be tolerant of her anxiety driven behaviour - tail-chasing and the squeaky barking that goes with it. Her parents would need to be willing to continue to deal with this in a positive way, with support of DRN.
