Meet this week’s pooches:
Aztec, 6 months, cattle dog X German shepherd
Master of cuddles: Hi I’m Aztec! I’m a 6 month old cattle dog cross German shepherd boy.
I’m definitely going to be a big boy when I’m fully grown because I’m already 26 kilos, not that I let
that stop me from crawling into your lap for cuddles.
My ideal forever home is one where I’m included as a member of the family, and one who doesn’t mind me joining them on the couch for cuddles.
I love being around my humans and being involved in family life. Ideally, I’d also like a home with another friendly dog as a companion. I’m a friendly boy who gets along well with other dogs.
The only time there have been misunderstandings is when I’ve gotten too excited and been a bit to boisterous. I don’t realise my size, and can accidentally be a little too rough.
I’m house trained, although it is best to greet me outside. I get very excited seeing you come home from work and tend to have small accidents, although they are getting smaller and less frequent.
I’m a very clever boy and with some more training would make a perfect addition to your home.

Ellie, 1 year, American staffy X
Social and loving girl: Meet Ellie, a beautiful 1 year old American staffy cross.
This girl is looking for a foster carer or new forever home. Ellie is a medium to high energy level dog and very social and loving.
She gets along well with large and small dogs.
Ellie enjoys regular walks by your side, and a good game of tug. She would be best suited in a more experienced home as she has not learned some of the basics of behaviour, like not jumping on people.
Ellie can also be a bit nervous in a car and gets a bit vocal.
Ellie has been an outside girl, but would love a family to welcome her inside. She hasn’t been exposed to cats or pocket pets.
Ellie is a very loyal dog who learns quickly. Given regular exercise and attention Ellie will flourish!
