SENIOR citizens are getting on their party frocks and dance shoes in preparation to participate in what is expected to be the biggest seniors festival in the Southern Hemisphere.

Lake Macquarie City Council’s annual Seniors Concert, to be held at Belmont 16 Foot Sailing Club, will be headlined by Lisa Crouch and will also feature  the Funky Do Da’s.

The February 18 event will be held as part of the NSW Seniors Festival, formerly known as Seniors Week, and will see an estimated 500,000 seniors statewide participate in the good times.

Individual and group bookings are essential and are available via the Eventbrite website or by phoning the council on 4921 0333.
