When did the band begin?
Trashed Again started about 4 years ago, in Newcastle we are all mate from around Newcastle and all love punk, we have always been about having fun, playing music and hanging out.
We do what we do because we all enjoy the same music and have fun playing together and To us that’s what it’s all about.
What are the influences?
We get a heavily influence from bands like U.S.A Punk legends Bouncing Souls and Rancid, we love a big sing along chorus and catchy hooks and it awesome when the crowd sings along with our songs.
What’s the best thing about being in the band?
The best thing about been in Trashed Again is the good times we have making music together.
We love this music and we enjoy getting together for a few beers and playing shows wherever we can and as often as we can.
We love playing our music and playing shows where ever we can and we want to keep moving forward with what we do, punk music is in our blood, we will keep going as long as we can
Does the name have any meaning?
The band name isn’t a reference to anything other then getting drunk and having fun
What has been your best gig so far?
Our best gig would have to be last year playing along side UK punks Booze and Glory they put on a great show and are great bunch of dudes, it was an honour to play with them on their first Australian tour we hope we can play with them again soon!
What are your plans for world domination?
This year we are going to release a full album that we are just about to start recording we have have a bunch of shows lined up already: Punx Picnic, in Sydney on February 16, and Cutthroat Folk Festival, in Sydney on March 16.
We are really excited to be apart of our next Newcastle show, which is on February 15, at the Lass, with Time On Earth.
