The adaptation of Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado, the Hot Mikado is on now until February 23 at The Young People’s Theatre.
The production includes updated music in the style of Jazz with a swing vibe.
The cast of 22 features senior students and young adult members, including the Lindsay Street Players, and a live onstage band.

Hot Mikado tells a hilarious tale, during which, despite life-or-death stakes, characters still find time to tap their toes and do their fair share of scatting.
The production is directed by Amber Lewis, with Brent Hanson as musical director.
