The HIA Population and Residential Building Hotspots 2019 Report aims to find employment growth areas targeted towards builders and tradies.
Cooks Hill was one of only 17 locations across NSW, and the only location outside of Sydney, with housing approvals in excess of $200m. Its population growth was 2.5 per cent.
In the financial year to January 2019, $160.2 million of residential building approvals have been undertaken, an increase of 58% on the same period a year earlier. Hotspots are where population growth exceeds the national average.
