Held at The Creator Incubator in Hamilton on June 22, the opening of the Adornment exhibition will also include pop-up market stalls run by the exhibitors, and a spectacular fashion parade.
Whether you like your personal adornment to shout out loud 'Look At Me!', or drop subtle hints to invite closer inspection, or just to wear every day like indelible ink, Adornment will have something for you.
The opening event on June 22 starts at 4pm and runs until 7pm while the exhibition in The Incubator Gallery will run from June 20 to June 30.
The event has been curated and organised by Newcastle artist Bridie Watt who had the idea of presenting a platform for artists creating wearable art.
Each artist will present a capsule collection in the gallery and have work for sale in the pop-up market, they will also send a model down the Incubator runway wearing their work as its intended.
