Manager Arts, Culture and Tourism Jacqui Hemsley said the volunteer program aimed to create connections between community members and culture through volunteering opportunities.
"Volunteers play an important role in the delivery of Council services, programs and events, helping to create a strong and inclusive community," Ms Hemsley said.
"We are seeking applications from volunteers who are passionate about the City and the region, friendly and approachable, and looking for ways to contribute to their community.
Current opportunities include museum collections volunteer, events and programs volunteer and SEEN@Swansea volunteer, as well as tourism ambassador for the City.
