My Kids Market NSW will be held at Newcastle Basketball Stadium, Broadmeadow on Sunday, July 14 from 9am to 12pm.
The market will be filled with local stallholders upcycling gently used baby and children's goods that have been outgrown - instead of adding them to landfill.
Market organiser Jennifer Harrison said the event was an ideal way pick up a bargain on big-brand items in good condition.
"My Kids Market NSW is all about sustainability as we see items such as clothing, toys, shoes, books and nursery items getting passed onto other families instead of being added to landfill," she said.
"It makes perfect sense to buy pre-loved items when our kids grow out of things so quickly" and the items sold at the market are in as new condition with many items still in the original packaging". "
According to Ms Harrison, My Kids Market is run by 'mums for mums' and caters to all baby and kids needs from pregnancy and newborns to approximately eight years of age.
My Kids Market NSW has also partnered with Share the Dignity and will be collecting donations of sanitary items that will be passed onto women in need. A donation box will be located at the entrance.
