Finally after tearing up Europe with their sharpie mullets, Melbourne's pub-rock revivalists Amyl and The Sniffers are returning home to tour their debut self-titled album and Newcastle is on the itinerary.
The Sniffers will play their first Newcastle show in the new Small Ballroom at 48 Watt Street on September 18.
The old church will be rattled to its foundations when the snotty punks dish up the likes of Some Mutts (Can't Be Muzzled), Gacked On Anger and Cup Of Destiny.
Amy Taylor, described as the lovechild of Bon Scott and Suzi Quatro, is arguably the most engaging and live wire frontwoman seen in Australian rock in decades.
General admission is just $18.10 for the September 18 gig with tickets available from tickets.oztix.com.au
